Small antique gold, sapphires and diamonds brooch in the shape of the Doge of Venice’s hat.The hat was a symbol of the Office of the elected ruler of Venice. In the nineteenth century during the Grand Tour jewelry was made as reference to all historical aspects of the rich culture of Italy.
