Silver Pomander Box

Description

Round pomander box c.1700 with turned decoration on the side and underneath. The lid is engraved with a double headed eagle holding a palm leaf and a pair of scales.There is an inscription that reads; Who God has as a friend will be blessed by the eagle and then also the same will have his wishes fulfilled.
